Overview
A private day school for girls in Guildford for students aged between 4 to 18 years. Catering for about 1100 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of AM snack, Lunch, PM snack and match teas with some fabulous hospitality. This location benefits from great transport links.
Responsibilities
- To work well in a team producing bread, cakes and desserts for lunch service and hospitality.
- To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the company’s brand standards.
- Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
- Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
- You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen as a Pastry Chef. Experience of making cakes, bread and pastry from scratch will also be welcomed as full training and development will be provided.
- You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients and regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Knowledge / Competencies
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
