Hours: 40 per week

One of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. Here we cater for a number of different events through the year ranging from corporate and private meetings & events to match days. With a variety of Food & Beverage outlets to choose from, it is an outstanding venue that offers attendees a fun day out.

Largely Monday-Friday, Fixed ten month contract.

We are looking for a customer focused Sales and Events Coordinator to join our team at one of our prestigious client locations in Taunton.

Duties to include:

  • Support the clubs sales function and coordinate event planning from initial enquiry through to delivery.
  • Coordinate key operational details and sales information to ensure the successful delivery of each event.
  • Provide assistance to event attendees, including gathering all required information, communicate thoroughly and having a keen attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively with other sales & event staff, following instructions and contributing to the overall success of the event.
  • Perform assigned tasks effectively and efficiently, adhering to safety guidelines and event protocols.
  • Be prepared to take on various roles or assist in different areas of event operations as needed.

You will have the following skills:

  • Willingness to work in a fast paced environment, to support event and sales operations.
  • Reliable and punctual, arriving on time for assigned shifts.
  • Capable of handling tasks that may involve heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, following instructions and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
  • Great communication skills to understand and carry out tasks and follow instructions from supervisors and clients.
  • A customer-friendly attitude and a willingness to assist event attendees as required.

Knowledge / competencies:

  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
  • Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred.
