An independent co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 2 to 18 in Street, Somerset, catering for around 1,300 students daily. We provide a core feeding offer of breakfast, lunch and supper, along with vibrant hospitality provision. This is a term-time only contract and operates Monday to Friday, with additional weekend residential activity for boarders.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in Somerset. You’ll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness.
- Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage

- Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
- Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
- Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems
- Operate industrial dishwasher
We are looking for:
- Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential
- Organisation Skills
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills
- Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
