An independent co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 2 to 18 in Street, Somerset, catering for around 550 students and teachers daily. We provide a core feeding offer of breakfast, lunch and supper, along with vibrant hospitality provision. This is a 52 week contract and operates 7 days a week, with additional weekend residential activity for boarders. A key benefit to this location is the extensive campus setting and outstanding facilities in the heart of the Somerset countryside.
We are looking for a Supervisor to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Somerset. You will ideally have previous experience of working within a fast-paced catering environment as a hospitality assistant or supervisor. You will enjoy what you do, working with a great team, for a company fanatical about food serving wonderful customers.
Key responsibilities:- To oversee the hospitality operation
- Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled
- Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed
- To support the team with serving customers, replenishing stocks, making hot drinks, clearing down (Barista skills essential)
- Hospitality experience required
- An all-round team player
- Organised with attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills
- Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
