The predicted salary is between 20000 - 30000 £ per year.

A co-educational, independent prep school and nursery in Farnham Royal, South Buckinghamshire, for children from 3 to 11 years. Catering for 130 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of morning snack and lunch with some hospitality. This is a term‑time only contract working 34 weeks and operates Monday to Friday. Additional benefit of this location is free parking on site.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in Slough. You’ll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness.

  • Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
  • Great team player
  • Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
  • Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
  • Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
  • Operate industrial dishwasher

We are looking for:

  • Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
  • Organisation Skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
  • Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
