A fabulous co-educational independent boarding school for children with military traditions, set in 150 acres of Kent countryside near Dover, catering for about 570 students and teachers. We offer a core feeding of AM snack, Lunch, PM snack, Supper and a 6th form cafe. There will be a good amount of hospitality offering at this location. This is a 45 hour a week contract, including a 30 minute meal break. This school operates 7 days a week so working patterns are 5 out of 7 days and has additional benefits of free parking and use of on site gym.
We are looking for a talented Pastry Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Dover. You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients and regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.
Key Responsibilities:- To work well in a team, providing breakfast, lunch & hospitality
- To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
- Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled
- Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed
- Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
