Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £13.72 per hour

Hours: 25 per week

A fabulous B&I location in Manchester for a British automotive online marketplace and classified advertising business, catering for approximately 600 people daily. We offer breakfast, lunch, 2 coffee shops, grab & go and good high-end hospitality. This is a Monday to Friday operation. The location is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Additional benefits of this location include great transport links.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in Manchester. You'll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness.

  • Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
  • Great team player
  • Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
  • Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
  • Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems
  • Operate industrial dishwasher

We are looking for:

  • Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential
  • Organisation skills
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good understanding and use of verbal English
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good standard of written English and reading skills
  • Similar experience in a customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred
