Our head offices are based in the beautiful village of Hook Norton near Banbury. Here you will find our teams of finance, HR, purchasing, marketing & creative that support all of our locations across the Thomas Franks family. There is ample parking space available when visiting.
We have an exciting opportunity for an International HR Officer to join our award-winning HR and Learning and Development team. The role involves providing support across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and maintaining global policy consistency. Key responsibilities include:
- Cross-border onboarding, administration & compensation, acting as a bridge between local sites, head office and managers who manage our International locations.
- Reporting to the Senior HR Manager International and could be based at our Head Office in Hook Norton, Oxfordshire.
- This is a Hybrid role with part of your week based at one of our Oxfordshire locations with the team.
General Responsibilities
- Build strong, professional relationships with employees, Management teams and Senior Leaders and regularly participate in International meetings.
- Provide advice and support to Managers on all onboarding queries in line with Company procedures, New starters & TUPE.
- Raise and improve Managers' awareness of current and new Employment Legislation.
- Work closely with other departments to execute and deliver International HR administration processes.
- Assist with occasional TUPE administration when necessary.
- Liaise with our teams overseas to ensure that HR support and guidance is provided.
- Use HR information systems to access, input and compile data.
- Respond to any queries or problems that they have and manage their expectations.
- Monitor, review and update all International policies and ensure these are in line with current legislation.
- Support with all international administrative benefit systems.
PERSON SPECIFICATION (SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & ABILITIES)
- Organised and driven.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to articulate and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Team working abilities, listening skills, the ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and use own initiative.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Ability to lead and support in a hands-on capacity when required.
- Cultural sensitivity, ability to manage remote stakeholders, and strong organisational skills.
- Competent skills in the Microsoft suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
- Senior Administrative experience.
- Knowledge of HR processes including absence management, performance management, & onboarding.
- CIPD qualified or willingness to work towards qualification.
- International HR experience - Desired.
