Salary: £32,000 per annum

Hours: 40 per week

Our head offices are based in the beautiful village of Hook Norton near Banbury. Here you will find our teams of finance, HR, purchasing, marketing & creative that support all of our locations across the Thomas Franks family. There is ample parking space available when visiting.

We are looking for an experienced and talented Learning & Development Facilitator to join our growing team at our Head Offices in Hook Norton to create and facilitate training, learning and development events within the business in response to business strategy and training needs.

General Responsibilities
  • Delivering an annual cycle of training programs that are aligned with the organisation’s objectives and having a strong understanding of what these are.
  • Liaising with leaders and team members across the business regarding training and development plans.
  • Seeking to understand the training needs of the business through informal discussion, observation and building good rapport with all team members within the business.
  • Embracing and facilitating different approaches to development, including e-learning, mentoring or coaching.
  • Having an awareness of the allocated budget and an ability to find solutions in order to implement the required training.
  • Designing learning and development opportunities for all employees (i.e. customer service, values).
  • Attending and representing L&D at regional meetings and events.
  • Managing the administration and co-ordination of training and learning events.
  • Working closely with other departments to deliver quality training across the business.
  • Supporting and liaising with team members to develop their own career pathways.
  • To attend team operational meetings and events several times a month.
  • Promoting and supporting apprenticeships across the business.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team working abilities, listening skills, the ability to work on own initiative.
  • The ability to communicate with the Senior Management Team regarding L&D opportunities within the business.
  • To facilitate multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Reliable, honest and able to demonstrate an open attentive approach to customer service to our internal and external customers.
  • Willingness to develop L&D skills to create more innovative L&D events.
  • Competent skills in the Microsoft suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
  • Experience in training or teaching events.
  • Working in a fast pace environment.
  • Has a valid driver’s license and car.
