The predicted salary is between 21141 - 21141 £ per year.
A pre-prep and preparatory day and boarding school for boys (with co-ed nursery) in Oxford, catering for 180 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of breakfast, lunch, snacks and supper with a limited hospitality offering. This is a term-time only contract working 34 weeks, with a working pattern of 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5pm.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established and friendly team at our prestigious location in Oxford. You'll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness.
- Key skills:
- Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
- Excellent customer service skills
- Great team player
- Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
- Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
- Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems
- Operate industrial dishwasher
We are looking for:
- Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential
- Can do attitude
- Organisation Skills
Knowledge / competencies:
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills
- Similar experience of customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred
