Our head offices are based in the beautiful village of Hook Norton near Banbury. Here you will find our teams of finance, HR, purchasing, marketing & creative that support all of our locations across the Thomas Franks family. There is ample parking space available when visiting.

We are looking for an experienced and talented Learning & Development Facilitator to join our growing team at our Head Offices in Hook Norton to create and facilitate training, learning and development events within the business in response to business strategy and training needs.

General Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an annual cycle of training programs that are aligned with the organisation’s objectives and have a strong understanding of what these are.
  • Liaise with leaders and team members across the business regarding training and development plans.
  • Seek to understand the training needs of the business through informal discussion, observation and building good rapport with all team members within the business.
  • Embrace and facilitate different approaches to development, including e-learning, mentoring or coaching.
  • Have an awareness of the allocated budget and an ability to find solutions in order to implement the required training.
  • Design learning and development opportunities for all employees (e.g., customer service, values).
  • Attend and represent L&D at regional meetings and events.
  • Manage the administration and coordination of training and learning events.
  • Work closely with other departments to deliver quality training across the business.
  • Support and liaise with team members to develop their own career pathways.
  • Attend team operational meetings and events several times a month.
  • Promote and support apprenticeships across the business.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team working abilities, listening skills, ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to communicate with the Senior Management Team regarding L&D opportunities within the business.
  • Facilitate multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Reliable, honest and able to demonstrate an open attentive approach to customer service to our internal and external customers.
  • Willingness to develop L&D skills to create more innovative L&D events.
  • Competent skills in the Microsoft suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
  • Experience in training or teaching events.
  • Working in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Has a valid driver's licence and car.
