A private day school for girls in Guildford for students aged between ages 4 to 18 years, catering for about 1100 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of AM snack, Lunch, PM snack and match teas with some fabulous hospitality thrown in. Additionally, this location benefits from great transport links. Term time only.

We are looking for a Cafe Supervisor to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Guildford. You will ideally have previous experience of working within a fast-paced catering environment as a hospitality assistant or supervisor. This really is a fantastic opportunity of working within a brand new cafe. You will enjoy what you do, working with a great team, for a company fanatical about food serving wonderful customers.

Key responsibilities:
  • To oversee the daily operation of this fantastic cafe.
  • Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
  • Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
  • To support the team with serving customers, replenishing stocks, making hot drinks, clearing down (Barista skills essential).
You will have the following skills:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Hospitality experience required
  • An all-round team player
  • Organised with attention to detail
  • Barista experience essential.
Knowledge / competencies:
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
  • Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred.
