A small independent pre-prep day school for boys and part of a large group of schools. Set in the heart of gorgeous Kensington & Chelsea, London. Catering for about 170 students and teachers. We offer a core feeding of lunch & mid-morning snack. There will be some amount of hospitality offering at this location. This is a term time only contract working 40 weeks a year. This school operates Monday to Friday.
We are looking for a talented Dining Room Assistant to join our team at one of our fabulous locations in London. You will have previous experience of working within a school with children in a dining room environment. You will be excited to work with young children, supporting them with eating, serving and cleaning after them.
Key responsibilities:- To deliver food to the children, establishing good eating habits, supporting them to try new foods.
- To ensure any child with allergies or intolerances is given the correct foods.
- Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
- Helping set up and close down the dining room environment.
- Clear and clean after the lunchtime service.
- Great team player.
- Be able to work well with the food production team to deliver great food and service.
- A genuine interest in food & excellent customer service.
- An all-round team player.
- An organised Dining Room Assistant with attention to detail.
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good understanding and use of verbal English.
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good standard of written English and reading skills.
- Similar experience in a customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred.
