Overview
A co‑educational private day school in Lewisham, London, catering for 900 students and teachers daily. Term‑time only, working 35 weeks a year, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Perform pot washing duties as required.
- Provide excellent customer service and work well within a team.
- Aid chefs with food preparation as needed.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness at all times.
- Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment.
- Clean allocated heavy catering equipment, including air filter and extraction systems, using instructions and cleaning materials.
- Operate an industrial dishwasher.
Qualifications
- Kitchen porter experience preferred but not essential.
- Can‑do attitude and strong organisational skills.
- Reasonable to good understanding and use of verbal English.
- Reasonable to good written English and reading skills.
- Experience in a customer and/or food preparation environment preferred.
