Bedford. Contract: Full Time, Permanent. Salary: 23300. Hours: 37.5 per week. An independent pre‑preparatory school with an outstanding nursery, located in the heart of Bedford for students from the age of 12 months to 9 years. Catering for about 120 students and teachers daily, we offer a core feeding of Lunch with some hospitality. This is a 52 week contract and operates Monday to Friday.
We are looking for a talented Commis Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Bedford. If you are a current chef or want to train and develop to become a chef by joining our chefs academy then please apply today. You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.
Key Responsibilities- To work well in a team, providing breakfast, lunch & hospitality
- To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
- Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
- Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
- Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
