Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £13.09 phr
Hours: 37.5 per week
A brand new B&I location that provides flexible high-spec labs, product development spaces & modern offices for science & tech businesses based in Bedford. It is the place where food, health, nutrition and well-being converge. Catering for about 450 people on site, we offer a core feeding of Breakfast, Lunch and Hospitality. This location operates Monday to Friday. Additional benefit of this location is free parking on site.
We are looking for a talented Barista to join our team at one of our prestigious contracts in Bedford.
Key Responsibilities
- To work well in a team producing the best barista coffee for staff and visitors
- Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
- Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
- Ensure that all retail items are stocked and rotated regularly
- Set up of location in the mornings for daily operation
- Manage payments and any cash handling.
- Daily stock takes of products available
You Will Have The Following Skills
- Excellent customer service
- An all-round team player
- Barista experience essential
- Personable, good sense of humour, fun.
Knowledge / Competencies
Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English. Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills. Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
