We are looking for an experienced and talented Learning & Development Facilitator to join our growing team at our head offices in Hook Norton to create and facilitate training, learning and development events within the business in response to business strategy and training needs.

General Responsibilities

  • Deliver an annual cycle of training programs that align with the organisation’s objectives and have a strong understanding of these objectives.
  • Liaise with leaders and team members across the business regarding training and development plans.
  • Seek to understand the training needs of the business through informal discussion, observation and building rapport with all team members.
  • Embrace and facilitate different approaches to development, including e-learning, mentoring and coaching.
  • Aware of the allocated budget and find solutions to implement required training.
  • Design learning and development opportunities for all employees (e.g., customer service, values).
  • Attend and represent Learning & Development at regional meetings and events.
  • Manage the administration and coordination of training and learning events.
  • Work closely with other departments to deliver quality training across the business.
  • Support and liaise with team members to develop their own career pathways.
  • Attend team operational meetings and events several times a month.
  • Promote and support apprenticeships across the business.

  • Teamworking abilities, listening skills and the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to communicate with the Senior Management Team regarding Learning & Development opportunities.
  • Facilitate multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Reliable, honest and able to demonstrate an open attentive approach to customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Willingness to develop Learning & Development skills to create more innovative events.

Knowledge and Competencies

  • Competent skills in the Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook).
  • Experience in training or teaching events.
  • Able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Has a valid driver’s licence and car.
