Radlett is an independent primary school for children aged 4 - 11 years old, located in Shenley, Hertfordshire. Catering for 450 students and teachers daily, we offer a core feeding of morning and afternoon snacks and lunch with a small hospitality offering. This is a term-time only contract working 38 weeks a year and operates Monday to Friday. Additional benefit to this location is free on-site parking.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in Radlett. You'll play a key role in maintaining the kitchen's hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Experience of pot wash duties is preferred but not essential.
- Great team player.
- Assist chefs with food preparation.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times.
- Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment.
- Handle heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials, including air filters and extraction systems.
- Operate industrial dishwasher.
We are looking for:
- Experience as a Kitchen Porter is preferred but not mandatory.
- Good organizational skills.
- Reasonable understanding and use of verbal English.
- Good standard of written English and reading skills.
- Experience in customer service or food preparation environment is a plus.
