Overview
An independent day and boarding preparatory school for boys aged 6β13 in Ascot. Catering for approximately 300 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of Breakfast, AM snack, Lunch, PM snack and supper along with match teas. There is lots of hospitality at this location throughout the year. This is a term time only contract and operates Monday to Sunday so working pattern is 5 over 7 days. This location benefits from free parking on site.
Working hours Monday-Friday 16:00-20:00 & Saturday 08:00-16:00
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in Ascot.
Responsibilities
- Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
- Great team player
- Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
- Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
- Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
- Operate industrial dishwasher
We are looking for
- Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Organisation Skills.
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
- Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
