Overview
Contract: Full Time , Permanent
Salary: 12.95 Per Hour
Hours: 40 per week
A co-educational independent boarding school in Perth and Kinross, Scotland, for children aged between 12 and 18 years. Catering for just under 400 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of Breakfast, Lunch and Supper with some high end hospitality and summer lets as well. As this is a boarding school, it operates 7 days a week so working patterns would be 5 out of 7 days. There is free parking available at the school.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in Perth.

Responsibilities
- Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
- Great team player
- Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
- Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
- Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
- Operate industrial dishwasher
Qualifications
- Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Organisation Skills.
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
- Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
- Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
