Salary: Pathway 1, £3,440 – £3,494 per annum (FTE £24,413 – £24,796)

Your role
As a Play Worker, you’ll be part of our dedicated play team, ensuring every child enjoys meaningful, active, and creative lunchtime play. You’ll help create a safe and stimulating outdoor environment, support positive social interactions, and make lunchtime a happy, inclusive experience. From facilitating imaginative play to assisting in the dining hall, you’ll be a key figure in promoting our school ethos and safeguarding children’s welfare.
Qualifications
You’ll need to be friendly, approachable, and confident when working with children aged 4–11. Strong teamwork skills, reliability, and a caring attitude are essential. While previous experience in play work or first aid is desirable, what matters most is your enthusiasm, flexibility, and commitment to our values. Clear communication, calm problem‑solving, and energetic delivery during lunchtime are also required.
