As a Science Technician, you'll be the driving force behind exciting and engaging practical science lessons. You'll prepare experiments, equipment and materials, maintain laboratory resources, support staff and students, and help ensure our laboratories are safe, organised and ready for discovery every day.
You'll thrive in this role if you're highly organised, enjoy solving problems, have a keen eye for detail and can manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with scientific equipment or in a laboratory setting would be advantageous, but most importantly, you'll bring energy, initiative and a genuine enthusiasm for science and education.
At Thomas Deacon Academy, we know that every successful science lesson starts long before students enter the laboratory. We are looking for two enthusiastic Science Technicians to join our talented and supportive team, helping to ignite curiosity and inspire the next generation of scientists. Working within our thriving Science Department, you will play a vital role behind the scenes, ensuring practical lessons are safe, engaging and fully equipped for success.
