Your role
As Lead Librarian, you’ll be the heartbeat of our library which is a vibrant, inclusive hub that supports both academic excellence and a love of reading across KS2 to KS5. You’ll curate diverse resources, lead exciting literacy initiatives, and collaborate with staff to embed reading into the curriculum. From themed campaigns and book fairs to mentoring student leaders and guiding reading interventions, you’ll champion a culture where reading is celebrated and every learner feels seen. You’ll bring strong IT and organisational skills, a deep love of literature, and the ability to connect with students of all ages. Whether you’re a qualified librarian or working towards certification, your passion for literacy and your commitment to our values: compassion, courtesy, curiosity, commitment, courage and confidence, will be key.
