The role is a key leadership position for an ambitious and passionate sports educator. You will work closely with the Head of Department to shape an ambitious curriculum from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, support colleagues through coaching and quality assurance, and ensure sport across the academy reflects our shared character values.
- Expand the sports enrichment offer and increase girls’ participation in Key Stage 4 sport.
- Design and deliver inclusive, high‑challenge lessons that engage students and secure strong progress.
- Contribute to professional development, curriculum refinement, and the daily leadership of the department.
- Model the professionalism and positivity expected of students and step up when needed.
- Build inclusive pathways that raise aspiration, strengthen confidence and shape lifelong engagement in physical activity.
