Your role

As a Teaching Assistant at our Junior College, you'll work alongside teachers tohelp children in Key Stage 2 access learning, build confidence and developindependence. You'll support individuals and small groups, encourage positivebehaviour, promote inclusion, and help every child overcome barriers tosuccess.

We'relooking for someone with GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent), strongcommunication skills, and a genuine passion for supporting young people. You'llbe able to build positive relationships, work effectively as part of a team,and demonstrate the compassion, confidence, courtesy, commitment, curiosity andcourage that underpin life at Thomas Deacon Academy Juniors. Experience workingwith primary-aged children or a Teaching Assistant qualification would be anadvantage, but above all, we're seeking someone who is dedicated to making adifference every day.
