We are looking for a talented front-end/back-end web developer that has a proven track record of creating great websites, a good all rounder. An individual who gets excited by the latest web trends and technologies and knows the best way to leverage these for client projects. You’ll work with our web designers and web developers, transforming designs ensuring that the front-end and back-end experience across all our projects just blows our clients away!

Essential Skills/Knowledge:

  • HTML5
  • PHP, previous exposure to MVC frameworks
  • Strong WordPress knowledge and theming
  • CSS / SASS / LESS
  • Javascript (jQuery)
  • Any Git / SVN or subversion exposure
  • Mobile up / cross platform development and a good understanding of responsive design
  • Understanding performance and optimisation – we want stuff to look great but load fast too
  • An eye for detail (someone who can understand the designer’s pain).
  • Portfolio of previous work
  • Photoshop / Sketch to convert designs to code
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Beneficial Skills/Knowledge:

  • Gulp/Grunt task automators
  • Use of responsive frameworks such as Foundation or Bootstrap
  • SEO best practices
  • Knowledge of multiple CMS – e.g. Magento, Umbraco

Experience:

  • Mac literate
  • Proven track record in a similar role
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a fast paced agency
  • Can-do attitude
  • Ability to develop a strong working relationship with all colleagues
