Employee Benefits Client Broker to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an insurance professional who enjoys building strong relationships, delivering excellent client outcomes and working collaboratively in a high-performing environment.

You'll play a key role in supporting the placement and servicing of risks, contributing to renewals and new business opportunities while ensuring clients receive a responsive, reliable and professional service.

The Role

As an Employee Benefits Client Broker, you will work closely with clients, insurers and colleagues to provide technical broking support and help deliver exceptional client experiences.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Supporting the placement of risks with insurers and service providers.
  • Preparing market submissions, presentations and supporting documentation.
  • Negotiating policy terms, conditions and premiums.
  • Producing client reports for new business and renewal terms.
  • Arranging insurance cover in line with client instructions.
  • Managing renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business administration.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring documentation is issued correctly.
  • Supporting debt management and financial administration activities.
  • Identifying opportunities for cross-selling and introducing clients to wider group services.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, insurers and business partners.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking an individual who combines technical insurance knowledge with excellent relationship-building skills and a proactive approach to client service.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

Insurance industry experience in a broking, account handling or client service environment.

  • Experience supporting client accounts, renewals and insurance placements.
  • Good understanding of insurance products, policy wordings and market practices.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working within FCA-regulated environments and adhering to compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Progress towards or commitment to achieving professional insurance qualifications (Cert CII).
  • Experience contributing to business development, retention and growth activities.
  • Knowledge of Employee Benefits markets
