Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Ltd is seeking a proactive and experienced Administration Assistant to join our busy and dynamic Building Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established and highly respected company within the construction industry.
Normal Office Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 08:30–16:30
- Friday: 08:30–16:00
We are also open to discussing part-time work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and scanning of delivery tickets accurately to contracts.
- Upload invoices to the 4PS accounting system software.
- Match goods received with invoices, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies and provide account updates.
- Communicate with site teams and suppliers regarding invoice queries and payment status.
- Work closely with the buying team to resolve purchase order and pricing issues.
- Maintain organised filing of delivery tickets by project.
- Provide general administrative support to the department.
About You:
You’ll be a confident communicator with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of initiative. You enjoy working as part of a team, can manage deadlines under pressure, and are comfortable taking ownership of tasks to resolve queries efficiently. Previous experience in a similar administrative role is essential.
