The Role
Thomann UK is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Thomann GmbH, the world’s largest online MI retailer, primarily focussed on purchasing. Staff are all based in the UK and work remotely, as would you after an initial training period in the Southampton area (accommodation provided if necessary). The role involves liaising with suppliers, negotiation, data analysis, admin and possibly some systems development (we make our own tools as we sit outside the main company). Occasional international travel required.
We’re Looking For
- Several years’ purchasing experience (sales-only experience also considered), ideally in retail, ideally within MI.
- Some product knowledge across categories.
- Confident negotiation.
- Strong IT skills, in particular Excel, ideally with some VBA.
- Very clear communication skills.
- A desire for precision in all you do.
