THE ROLE

As the Regional Made to Measure and Custom Manager, you will manage, develop and directly influence the regional MTM and Custom business and culture within Thom Browne. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maximising sales and revenue utilizing all available data, knowledge of the business and marketplace to consistently seek new opportunities to improve core MTM and custom business.
  • Achieving and exceeding regular monthly, seasonal, quarterly and annual MTM sales plans for the region.
  • Managing VIP Clients and Special-Order Requests; contributing concrete problem-solving activities to satisfy customer needs.
  • Providing best-in-class customer service, building strong client relationships with regular communication and swatch mail-outs.
  • Building a viable, well-organized client network through the MTM specialists.
  • Planning seasonal training for the sales teams with retail and wholesale regional teams.
  • Supporting training plans and development paths for regional MTM talents.
  • Maintaining exceptional product knowledge, including understanding of production techniques and technologies, styling and design concepts, methods of construction, materials and fabric selection.
  • Planning seasonal trunk shows in regional stores for wholesale and retail.
  • Actively maintaining Brand expertise in terms of product, brand history, events and projects, key trends, selling points and featured seasonal products.
  • Identifying selling opportunities, communicating customer feedback, processing shipment/transfers in a timely manner.
  • Assessing and reviewing quality control of all MTM orders.
  • Working with internal and external specialists to alter products, using suitable and efficient tailoring construction methods.
  • Submitting MTM Orders in the MTM Order Entry Portal; following up on orders; minimising deficiencies.
  • Ensuring reporting activity at the end of each travel and at the end of the season.
  • Checking production order status: liaising with MTM operations, customer service and product delivery and execution.
  • Proactively informing teams accordingly.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a tailoring-focused, luxury retail or wholesale environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the areas of client relationship management, product knowledge, selling techniques and advanced garment construction expertise.
  • Possesses analytical skills and competencies in the development of performance, processes and sales analysis.
  • Passionate representative of the Thom Browne world.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated with strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
  • Confident, professional, comfortable working autonomously; diplomatic verbal and written communication.
