PRODUCTION TEAM LEADER - 35,700 BASED WATTON/THETFORD - PERMANENT FULL TIME - MONDAY TO FRIDAY 7.30AM TO 5PM.
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be required to perform the following key job functions: Role Purpose The Production Team Leader is a vital role within our operations.
You will be expected to work directly on the production lines while simultaneously overseeing a small, fast-paced team.
Your goal is to assist in ensuring that production targets are met, quality is uncompromised, and the unit operates smoothly.
Key Responsibilities Shop Floor Leadership hands-on on the production lines to maintain output.
Team
Supervision: Oversee a small team, ensuring staff are working efficiently and meeting hourly/daily targets.
Technical
Proficiency: Operate all production machinery (following training) and assist with basic maintenance to minimize downtime.
Labelling : Manage overprinting tasks using specialized printers and Nice Label / Nice Label Design software.
Staff
Development: Assist with the training and on boarding of new team members, ensuring they are quickly up to speed on safety, quality, and operational standards.
