The role:
Due to continued growth within the industry, our client is looking to recruit a new member of staff to join their procurement department. Based at the Norfolk depot, you will be reporting directly to the Procurement Manager and working closely with the senior management team, as well as communicating with all other department supervisors as and when required.
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
- Managing the procurement of set allocated supplier stock.
- Signing off price changes and finalising pricing for key accounts.
- Managing a portfolio of products effectively, therefore reducing the risk of overstock and clearance items.
- Negotiating joint business plans with customers and suppliers.
