We're looking for a highly creative Content Creator and Graphic Designer to work across every touchpoint of our brand to produce totally THISTM, 100% remarkable and definitely different creative, that sets us apart from the competition. This role is about developing standout design that makes people react and gets people talking.
Please be aware that this is a freelance position for a total of 3 days per week, split into two full days in our Hammersmith office, and two half days working remotely.
What will you be getting up to? Every day is different but just to give you an idea:
- 50% pack concepts and artworking – creating packcepts to final print ready artwork for NPD within the new brand guidelines.
- 40% digital design – creating social media content and campaign graphics including static, gif, animation, and video that work across multiple formats, with a particular focus on video editing, retouching and animation.
- 10% shopper marketing (POS etc.), advertising and other ad hoc design projects as required.
- Newsletter design and website updates.
- Work on a variety of different projects including retouching designs, layouts and illustrations – retouching must be to a high standard.
- Own design briefs and follow the brief from inception through to completion.
- Participating in creative meetings, sharing ideas and concepts with the team.
- Being up to speed with the latest digital technologies and software changes.
Who we're looking for:
- Proven experience in digital (particularly animation and video editing), print and pack design gained from an FMCG or agency background.
- ATL and BTL design experience is essential.
- Proven experience of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, excellent MAC skills and having photography and retouching skills are essential.
- Creative and self-motivated with a diverse and commercial portfolio with an eye for fearless yet fabulous design.
- Understanding of artwork/repro/print/production/finishing digital processes essential.
- Consumer focused with a strong understanding of typography, colour and layout.
- Proactive, with strong attention to detail, communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and to prioritise successfully.
- Ability to react positively to rapidly evolving brand requirements.
- Flexible and adaptable to different briefs, briefing styles and brief priorities.
