Key Responsibilities

  • Performing all breading and packing duties as directed, including transporting, placing, and stacking goods on pallets safely.
  • Keep all work areas within the factory safe, clean, and tidy.
  • Immediately reporting to the production chargehand, production supervisor and/or engineering department any damage or breakdowns to machines.
  • Assist and/or work in other areas/departments as and when required ensuring to be diligent, punctual, and behaving in a responsible manner.
  • Always adhere to company policies including the personal hygiene policy, using correct manual handling techniques, and always wearing the correct PPE.
  • Completing ad hoc duties for chargehands, supervisors and production managers as and when required.
  • Understand, support, and promote brand integrity and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Normal hours of work are 40 per week. The normal dayshift working day is from 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm, the normal backshift working day is from 3pm to 11pm or 4pm to 12am. However, your working times may vary and will depend on the demands of the role and the needs of the business. Rate of pay £12.71 per hour.
