Role

The Development Chef will work as part of a team focused on creating and developing new market‑ready products for current and new customers. The post holder must have a sound knowledge of the company’s current products, be forward‑thinking, stay ahead of consumer taste trends and be able to match recipes to factory processes. The post holder must be a passionate foodie who enjoys cooking on the creative edge.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new viable market‑ready products in line with current market trends.
• Present and demonstrate new products to existing and new customers.
• Maintain all relevant paperwork.
• Contribute to the overall commercial strategy and growth of the business.
• Complete any ad hoc duties required to ensure the NPD kitchen runs effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a kitchen or in product development.
