The Opportunity

We are working with a growing brewery in Yorkshire to appoint a Quality Manager to take responsibility for quality, safety and compliance across the site. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced quality professional to join a growing business where production volumes are increasing and maintaining consistently high standards is a key priority.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and developing quality and food safety systems across the brewery, working closely with production and other teams across the business. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and maintaining HACCP systems
  • Preparing for and managing SALSA audits
  • Completing risk assessments and internal audits
  • Managing corrective and preventative actions
  • Leading quality investigations and root cause analysis
  • Maintaining quality and compliance documentation
  • Supporting supplier and raw material standards
  • Identifying and delivering continuous improvement opportunities
  • Working closely with production to maintain quality and safety standards
  • Supporting the business as production volumes continue to increase

About You

We are keen to speak with quality professionals who have experience working within a brewing, drinks or wider food manufacturing environment. You will ideally have experience with HACCP, audits, risk assessments and quality systems, alongside a practical understanding of working within a busy production environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable working closely with production teams and taking a hands-on approach to quality rather than simply managing processes from a distance.

What's on Offer

  • Salary of £50,000 – £55,000
  • Opportunity to join a growing brewery
  • A hands-on role with genuine responsibility
  • The opportunity to influence quality and compliance as the business continues to grow
