An established and growing financial planning business in Moray is looking to appoint a qualified Financial Planner or Financial Adviser due to continued expansion. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive business with an established client base and plenty of clients ready to be looked after. You will have the opportunity to build strong, long term relationships while continuing to grow and develop your career within the business.

THE ROLE

You will provide holistic financial planning and advice to a varied portfolio of clients, helping them make informed decisions about their financial future. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and developing relationships with existing clients
  • Providing advice across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning
  • Understanding each client’s circumstances, objectives and future plans
  • Preparing and presenting suitable financial planning recommendations
  • Conducting regular client reviews and maintaining accurate records
  • Identifying opportunities to support clients across additional areas of financial planning
  • Developing new business through referrals and professional relationships
  • Working closely with the wider financial planning, paraplanning and administration teams

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • A Level 4 qualification in regulated financial planning, such as DipPFS or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience working as a Financial Planner, Financial Adviser or Independent Financial Adviser
  • Competent Adviser Status and a current Statement of Professional Standing
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and protection
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • A client focused and professional approach
  • The ability to manage an existing client portfolio while supporting continued business growth

Level 6 or Chartered Financial Planner status would be highly advantageous, although applications are welcomed from Level 4 qualified advisers who are keen to continue developing towards Chartered status.
