Our Personal Assistants support people to lead full, active and socially connected lives, helping them achieve the things that matter to them. Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards, a qualification meeting the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
We are looking for a female Personal Assistant with a driving licence to join our team supporting a vibrant Edinburgh lady who loves fine dining, curling, and karaoke. If you're fun, caring, and up for a laugh, this role is for you. You will be supporting her with daily life, outings, and activities - think great food and belting out a song when the mood strikes. No two days are the same, and you'll genuinely become part of her life.
You will be providing support to a young woman living in the Gorgie area between the hours of 07:30-22:00, Monday to Sunday on a rota basis with your team. You will assist with personal care, community access, and driving to appointments/activities. You will bring energy, kindness, and a sense of humour to every shift. As part of your training, you will be included in 4-week paid Deep Dive Academy training Mon-Fri. Thistle Academy covers all mandatory and person-centred learning. No experience needed - we teach you everything. You will become part of a supportive, established team.
