Our Personal Assistants support people to lead full, active and socially connected lives, helping them achieve the things that matter to them.

We are looking for a female Personal Assistant Pool worker to work alongside a woman who lives in Leith, Edinburgh. As a Pool worker, you would be expected to cover shifts on an ad-hoc basis, primarily to cover staff absences and annual leave. This is a highly flexible role where you would be expected to work flexibly to help the team out when required, and sleepovers are a required part of this role.

You will be required to support a woman in her early 30s who lives in her own home in Leith. She requires assistance with all aspects of personal care, housework, cooking, and getting to and from destinations. She enjoys watching TV (particularly crime and medical drama), going to the cinema, attending the theatre, watching sport (mainly football and tennis), and she attends football matches on a regular basis. She works part-time and is very active in and around Edinburgh and is supported 24 hours a day every day.

  • Starting salary £13.45 per hour (£27,277 per annum (FTE)) rising to £13.55 per hour (£27,479 FTE) from 1st April 2026.
