We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to install, commission, service, and maintain intruder alarm systems, CCTV and access control systems across commercial and domestic sites. This is a field-based role suited to a reliable, hands-on engineer who takes pride in high-quality installations and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of intruder alarm systems
- Installation and configuration of CCTV systems (IP and analogue)
- Installation and maintenance of access control systems
- Fault finding, servicing, and system upgrades
- Ensuring work is completed to relevant British Standards and company procedures
- Completing job documentation and compliance paperwork
- Providing professional on-site customer support
- Out of hours call outs
About You
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
- Experience with major manufacturers (e.g. Pyronix, Hikvision, Paxton, Honeywell, etc.)
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication skills and a professional approach to customers
- NSI or SSAIB experience
- Knowledge of fire alarms (advantageous)
- IPAF / ECS / CSCS cards
- Experience working on commercial and high-end residential sites
