Role Objective
Drive revenue across the group’s resorts hotels and day spas by actively generating and converting MICE and group business leads.
Manage the full sales cycle—from initial enquiry to post-event follow-up—ensuring exceptional customer engagement and maximising sales opportunities through strategic account management and proactive business development.
- Some responsibilities include;
- Proactively identify and convert new business opportunities across the venues within the group
- Host familiarisation trips and site visits to showcase facilities and convert pipeline opportunities.
- Attend networking events to generate leads and promote brand visibility
- Assist in planning and executing sales projects such as exclusive use events, sporting partnerships and large profitable deals
- Maintain up-to-date CRM activity and pipelines using Salesforce, tracking all lead generation, conversions, and sales activity.
- Remain fully informed on competitor offerings, pricing, and activity to support strategic positioning
- Be proactive with reasonable and standard sales activity including inbound and outbound calls, competitor visits and networking events
- Stay informed of forthcoming events in the area that could impact group sales opportunities or demand
- Proactively manage inbound MICE and group sales enquiries via phone, email and in person for all resorts
- Conduct proactive sales calls per week, identifying and passing on new business opportunities to the sales director in order to achieve required business targets
- Generate repeat business by conducting post event follow ups and nurturing long term client relationships
- Manage event diaries across resorts to ensure we are maximising space
- Handle client enquiries in a timely manner
- Maintain a sales focus to optimise revenue opportunities
