As Events Assistant you will be a support to both your manager and team in delivering memorable events. Guests and clients joining us for Events are typically enjoying magical moments such as weddings, special events such as family celebrations or indeed joining us as part of a business programme.
First impressions count, ensure that all areas of the department is show round ready and creates a wow moment.
- To prepare all mise-en-place required for the tables and stations before each service.
- Ensure the smooth execution of tasks ensuring guests receive the best service and in line with their agreed function.
- Be fully conversant with all food allergens and allergies.
- To deal with guest’s comments and complaints initially and report these to the person in charge.
- Support functions such as beverage service and the café where applicable.
- Be fully conversant with the current function sheets and be aware of what is taking place in the department each day, this includes the days ahead.
- Ensure the department is stocked and prepared.
