This That is a data and intelligence company focused on proving and improving the power of influence.

We help brands and agencies answer three simple questions: what happened, why it happened, and what to do next to grow.

Born in social and built for influencer, This That has set the gold standard for influencer marketing measurement.

We make it simple and enjoyable to quantify the true impact of campaigns by capturing high-quality insight from the communities who see your ads in real time.

Everything is powered by technology that reshapes what best-in-class looks like.

Our work uncovers the drivers of the funnel from awareness and consideration to action intent and advocacy, with clear levers to grow.

We show brands how to lift influence with stronger creative, smarter targeting and distribution, and more relevant storytelling.

Global leaders such as Meta, Unilever, Amazon, Goat, Influential, and Influencer rely on This That for clarity, confidence, and growth.

By redefining Brand Lift for the influence era, we are changing the way advertisers understand impact and how consumers shape the stories they care about.

Better measurement. Better growth.

Join the party at This That as an Insights Lead for our Insights team!

You'll set the standard for insight excellence and shape strategic solutions across the business, operating as a trusted senior advisor across a portfolio of high-value clients.

You'll deliver insight that drives real commercial action, influence how clients think about measurement and growth, and play a key role in evolving our methodology, products and delivery standards as This That continues to scale.

This is a senior individual contributor role.

You'll lead through expertise, influence and credibility – coaching and guiding more junior team members and raising capability across the team – without formal line management.

This role will suit a senior insight practitioner with deep research and measurement expertise, strong commercial judgement and executive presence, who wants to maximise their impact as a trusted advisor across multiple clients in a fast-paced start-up environment.

KEY REMIT

  • Insight & Storytelling
  • Set the standard of delivery excellence across your client portfolio, delivering high-impact, strategic insight that drives growth and change – and challenge those around you to do the same.
  • Lead complex, high-value Brand Lift studies from brief to debrief, being assertive and directive when refining briefs and project scope to achieve the best outcomes for every study.
  • Build credible hypotheses that explain the "why" behind results, drawing on your wider experience with the client and the business, and connect insight across studies and stakeholders to build a compounding, strategic view of the client’s business.
  • Create and lead learning agenda sessions with multiple stakeholders, aligning teams around what they should learn, decide and do next, and hold clients accountable for actioning your recommendations.
  • Provide quality assurance on key deliverables, setting the bar for storytelling quality, narrative clarity and accuracy across the team.
  • Act as a trusted senior advisor to clients, influencing their thinking and strategic direction and supporting them through complex or high-stakes challenges.
  • Proactively maintain and develop relationships with key client stakeholders outside of key delivery moments, with a deep understanding of their roles, motivations and how we can best deliver for them.
  • Lead the design and sell-in of multi-phase and multi-wave insight programmes that deliver long-term client value, and use your client understanding to identify new business opportunities and convert them with your Pod.
  • Be a strong advocate for your clients, bringing commercial implications into conversations around methodology, product and process, and identifying where insight can feed award entries and high-profile case studies.
  • Methodology, Product & Quality
  • Act as a senior authority on research design and methodology, providing expert guidance on complex methodological issues internally and externally.
  • Proactively discover and drive improvements within and across Pods, shaping and evolving our measurement approaches and leading on best-practice guidance and assets.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our products, frameworks and Managed Services, and be a vocal champion of Insights across the business.
  • Lead across a portfolio of high-value accounts with minimal oversight, proactively managing your own workload and supporting the wider team’s, with a keen eye on timing and budget.
  • Set the standard on pace and efficiency, using the capacity you earn to drive Category Leadership and Strategic Solutions – from case studies and Academy TT to product discovery.
  • Coach, guide and oversee junior team members, proposing and leading upskilling initiatives and sharing best practice to raise team capability.
  • Influence cross-functional teams across Client Strategy, Sales, Product, Data Science and Marketing through your expertise, navigating the business to progress delivery at pace.
  • Manage upwards with confidence – challenging and disagreeing while a decision is being made, then committing to it and bringing the team on board.
  • Thought Leadership & Market Presence
  • Produce high-quality case studies across key accounts, collaborating with Data Science and Product to leverage market intelligence.
  • Confidently represent This That’s approach and value proposition externally, contributing to our presence through social content, industry engagement and content that supports Sales, Strategy and Marketing outreach.
  • Continuously expand your knowledge of the influencer, creator and wider social landscape, and share learnings with the wider This That team.
