Join the party at ThisThat as a Business Development Manager! You'll be the heartbeat of our growth, nurturing client connections, and guiding our potential partners into the new era of measurement. You will own the end-to-end sales pipeline. From orchestrating tailored engagements, crafting captivating proposals, and negotiating like a pro – all while collaborating across teams, ensuring we're always in tune with the market's groove and delivering top-notch service to our clients.

KEY REMIT

  • Pipeline Generation & Outreach
  • Identify and reach out to potential clients, leverage diverse channels to generate Initial Meets (IMs).
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Building relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for potential clients, introducing company services/products.

Discovery & Proposals

  • Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients to understand their needs and pain points.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions addressing client requirements.
  • Create compelling proposals and presentations showcasing the company's offerings.

Negotiation and Contract Closure

  • Lead negotiations, address client concerns, and work towards successful deal closures.
  • Finalise contracts and initiate the Statement of Work (SOW) for the first project or Proof of Concept (POC).
  • Handover to Client Strategy/Services
  • Ensure a seamless transition post-SOW signing by facilitating handover to Client Strategy & Services.
  • Provide necessary insights and context for a smooth client transition.
  • Collaboration with Marketing & Growth
  • Work closely with Marketing and wider Growth team to align outreach and marketing activities to enhance effectiveness.
  • Gather market insights and client feedback to refine sales strategies, product offerings, and value propositions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years proven experience in business development, sales, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and drive initiatives.
  • Proficiency in CRM (HubSpot) and sales tools.
