Job Description

Your Role: Senior Platform Engineer

Join our Platform team and help shape the systems that power Global's technology platforms.

Working across cloud infrastructures, CI/CD pipelines, and application hosting environments, you'll develop and improve scalable, reliable solutions that support business-critical systems across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Engineering & Automation: Support, maintain, and enhance our application hosting and build platforms across AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git Hub.

Develop automation and tooling using technologies such as Python, Java/Groovy, Go, and Terraform.

  • Technical Leadership & Best

Practice: Lead code reviews and champion engineering best practices across security, performance, maintainability, and testing.

Contribute to technical standards and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

  • Operational Excellence & Collaboration: Maintain reliable production environments, improve observability and monitoring systems, and respond to proactive and reactive support alerts.

Work collaboratively across the Technology department while mentoring and supporting other engineers.
