The successful candidate will create a scalable enterprise setup that enables consistent portfolio, programme and project management, supports balanced scorecard tracking, and produces management, executive and Board-level reporting with a high degree of automation.
The role requires both strong Monday.com technical expertise and the ability to translate business strategy, governance and delivery requirements into practical workflows, controls and reporting.
Key responsibilities- Enterprise design and setup
- Review our current change, strategy, operational planning and reporting requirements.
- Design and implement an enterprise-grade Monday.com structure, including workspaces, boards, dashboards, automations, permissions, templates and governance standards.
- Establish a clear and scalable hierarchy across portfolio, programme, project and workstream levels.
- Ensure the setup supports robust oversight, ownership, dependencies, milestones, risks, issues, decisions and delivery status.
- Change agenda and execution management
- Build a central framework within Monday.com to manage the organisation’s change agenda and execution plans.
- Configure boards and dashboards to support prioritisation, delivery tracking, accountability, escalation and cross-functional coordination.
- Create a structure that allows leadership to track progress against key objectives, critical initiatives and delivery milestones.
- Strategy, operational planning and PMO capability
- Set up programme management capabilities to support business strategy and operational plans.
- Create reusable templates, workflows and standards for programmes and projects.
- Build mechanisms for tracking actions, deliverables, outcomes, dependencies, risks, issues and governance decisions.
- Support the development of a consistent PMO approach that can be operated internally after implementation.
- Balanced scorecards and performance tracking
- Design and implement balanced scorecard structures within Monday.com to support tracking across agreed business objectives and performance measures.
- Ensure scorecards can be linked appropriately to programmes, projects, departments and strategic priorities.
- Configure dashboards that provide clear insight into progress, delivery confidence, exceptions and emerging concerns.
- Reporting and automation
- Design and implement management, Executive Committee and Board-level reporting across programmes, projects and wider business performance.
- Build automated reporting where possible, including dashboards, status summaries, RAG views, milestone reporting and exception-based escalation.
- Reduce manual reporting effort by creating sustainable workflows, data structures and automations for future use.
- Ensure reporting is decision-oriented, concise and suitable for senior governance forums.
- Training and handover
- Train the internal project management / transformation team on system use, governance standards, reporting and ongoing administration.
- Provide clear documentation, user guidance and handover materials.
- Build internal capability so the business can maintain, evolve and govern the solution after the engagement ends.
By the end of the engagement, the successful candidate is expected to have delivered:
- A fit-for-purpose Monday.com enterprise structure and governance model.
- Configured boards, dashboards, templates and automations for:
- strategic and operational plan tracking
- balanced scorecards
- management, executive and Board reporting
- Strong track record of designing end-to-end portfolio, programme and project management solutions within Monday.com.
- Experience building executive-level dashboards and reporting for senior leadership and Boards.
- Experience creating automations, workflows, templates, governance controls and scalable data structures.
- Demonstrable ability to translate strategy, operational planning and governance requirements into practical system design.
- Experience training internal teams and embedding sustainable ways of working.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work credibly with delivery teams and senior executives.
- Experience in financial services, regulated environments, or similarly governance-heavy sectors.
- Experience implementing balanced scorecards or strategic performance management frameworks.
- Understanding of PMO, portfolio governance, risk and issue management, and executive reporting disciplines.
- Experience integrating Monday.com with other business systems and reporting tools where relevant.
- Highly practical, structured and delivery-focused.
- Strong commercial judgement and ability to work at pace.
- Able to challenge constructively and recommend best practice rather than simply replicate inefficient existing processes.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex reporting for senior audiences.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on robustness, usability and long-term sustainability.
