The Opportunity: We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Senior International Account Manager to accelerate growth across our global distributor network and strategic export markets. This role will manage and grow distributor and selected retail partnerships across North America, Europe, Asia and China, while also identifying and onboarding new international partners in priority territories. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with operational excellence and international relationship management experience. They must be confident navigating cultural nuances, distributor dynamics, retailer expectations and market complexities across multiple global regions. This is a highly collaborative role requiring close partnership with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory and Product teams to deliver sustainable, profitable international growth.

  • Sales Responsibilities:
  • International Distributor and Retail Account Management
    • Act as the lead commercial contact for international distributors and selected retail partners across the USA, Europe, Asia and China.
    • Build strong, strategic relationships with distributors, retailers and regional stakeholders to drive sustainable long-term growth.
    • Develop and execute joint business plans aligned to company revenue, profitability and brand objectives.
    • Lead annual commercial negotiations including targets, margin management, promotional investment and growth initiatives.
    • Conduct regular business reviews, performance analysis and growth planning with partners.
  • Global Growth & Strategic Sales Planning
    • Identify, evaluate and onboard new distributors and strategic retail partners within priority and emerging international markets.
    • Assess market opportunities, route-to-market strategies and commercial viability across diverse international regions.
    • Support distributor selection, contract negotiations and onboarding processes in partnership with senior leadership.
    • Contribute to building scalable frameworks for international growth and distributor management.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth
    • Deliver revenue and profitability targets across international territories.
    • Analyse sales performance, market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
    • Partner with distributors and retailers to optimise assortments, pricing strategies, launch plans and promotional calendars.
    • Support retail expansion opportunities across premium beauty, wellness, pharmacy, travel retail and e-commerce channels.
    • Collaborate on strategies to scale international business from challenger brand to globally recognised premium wellness brand.
  • International Market, Regulatory & Operational Coordination
    • Work cross-functionally to ensure successful execution of launches, forecasts and supply planning.
    • Maintain awareness of international regulatory and compliance requirements, particularly across the USA, EU, China and Asian markets.
    • Support distributors with local market activation, retailer presentations, education and brand positioning.
    • Ensure brand consistency while adapting approaches appropriately for regional market and cultural needs.
    • Support cross-border e-commerce opportunities and evolving international channel strategies where relevant.
  • Forecasting, Reporting & Financial Management
    • Own distributor forecasting, budgeting and sales tracking processes.
    • Deliver accurate revenue forecasts and contribute to annual planning cycles.
    • Monitor ROI across promotional and marketing investments.
    • Produce regular commercial reporting, insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
    • Support line-level forecasting and international demand planning.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in international account management, with proven track record of managing distributor relationships across global regions including North America, Europe and Asia within beauty, wellness, skincare or premium consumer brands.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of international retail environments, distributor models and export market dynamics.
  • Experience working with culturally diverse partners and navigating international business practices.
  • Knowledge of cross-border e-commerce and Asian market dynamics advantageous.
  • Commercially driven with strong analytical and financial planning skills.
  • Experience in forecasting, budgeting, promotional planning and P&L management.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and secure new international business opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and relationship management skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple markets and priorities simultaneously.
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial and proactive mindset aligned with This Works brand values.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and commercial reporting tools.
  • Fluent English required; Mandarin or additional European/Asian languages advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
