L3Harris in Brighton are part of Release Systems and the Mission Avionics sector operating in the Aerospace domain. Our mission-critical release systems equipment is on most major airborne fighter platforms worldwide including the F-35 along with other aircraft like the Gripen and Typhoon. Brighton designs, manufactures, and tests a large portion of its release systems portfolio. This facility offers 48500 square feet of manufacturing space for the development of high-performance multi-station solutions used to launch air-to-air and air-to-ground munitions from bay, wing, or fuselage stations.

What the role will involve
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
- Prepares bid packages, analyses and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, executes contracts, and documents the contracting file.
- Conducts the contracting process in adherence with UK Regulations, Public Law, Company and Supply Chain Policies and Procedures.
- Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
- Manages Suppliers' technical delivery and financial performance against Plan.
- Serves as single point-of-contact to the subcontractor/supplier while fostering collaboration between the subcontractor/supplier and the L3Harris team including Program Management, Engineering, Project Engineering, and Quality.
- Review status of subcontractors/suppliers' performance including delivery and financial performance.
- Assesses risk, develops risk mitigation plans, formulates resolution plans.
- Negotiate and generate Supplier Framework Agreements to support long-term company objectives.
- Liaise with the Suppliers and Quality Manager regarding supplier quality deficiencies in a timely and proactive manner.
- Represent Supply Chain in meetings with customers and other external bodies as and when required.
