Training & development. It's something that all businesses offer. However, the problem with most training is that it is delivered once, with a "refresher" session taking place once a year. That means the training could be the best in the world - but if it's not regularly reinforced, the learning will never be truly applied. That's why this business has developed an AI powered platform that compliments a business's existing training programme to ensure the learning is regularly reinforced and therefore more likely to have a long-lasting impact!
They're a business with a real sense of purpose with the idea being born out of saving people's lives through a better training experience. Already working with businesses such as Volvo, Microsoft & Fidelity - they're now growing their sales team in Nottingham and looking for people like you!
The Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be responsible for booking in product demos & meetings for the business development team. Typical responsibilities will include:
- Prospecting potential new customers - this will include cold calling (80 calls per day) but will be supplemented with strategic LinkedIn & Email work.
- Working with a BDM - you'll be working closely with the BDM team to ensure that the most is made from every opportunity.
- Working towards targets - you'll be working towards regular activity targets (call time, calls made etc).
What's In It for You?
- Purpose driven business - This product uses technology to make people better in their jobs, which is good for everyone. You'll be selling a product that's making a real positive impact.
- Earning Potential - £27,500 base salary with the opportunity to earn uncapped commission on top. You'll be rewarded for all the successful demos that you book, as well as a % of any deals that convert.
- Progression - your first promotion in this business can be achieved in 6 months to Senior SDR, with a further promotion available 6 months afterwards (if you're hitting targets, of course!).
- Flat Structure - They're a small business, with a BIG mission. That means you will have direct contact time with the CEO and decisions get made quickly. No corporate bureaucracy here.
- And lots of other benefits… regular early finish Fridays, FREE beer & prosecco taps available every day (and soft drink options of course!), barista on site with your favourite mochaccinos etc made fresh and for FREE and a dog friendly office for anyone that wants to bring their furry friend.
What do you need?
- Previous sales experience - it's not essential, but previous experience in a phone-based customer service or call center role would be advantageous.
- Work Ethic - one of their values is "Effort". It's a sales role, so things won't always go your way. However, always putting in 100% is non-negotiable.
- Intelligence - this is a B2B role, and you'll be having conversations with C-level and senior executives, so you need to be able to be intelligent, articulate and sound credible on the phone.
