We're working with one of the
UK's leading technology and digital training providers , who are looking for an experienced
Business Development Manager
to join their high-performing sales team.
The business works with some of the UK's largest organisations, helping them develop their people through tailored technology, digital and professional training solutions.
This is a
50/50 role across account management and new business , giving you the opportunity to develop existing customer relationships while also identifying, winning and growing new accounts.
The Role
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing B2B customers, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and expand relationships.
Proactively generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking and relationship development.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and senior decision-makers.
Lead discovery and client meetings to understand business challenges and identify relevant solutions.
Take a consultative approach to sales, uncovering customer needs and positioning the right solution.
Develop tailored proposals and presentations aligned with customer requirements.
Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to negotiation and close.
Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline, using CRM data to prioritise opportunities and consistently achieve targets.
Build long-term commercial relationships and become a trusted partner to your customers.
Identify opportunities to grow revenue across existing accounts through a thorough understanding of client needs.
About You
2+ years' B2B sales experience
with a proven track record of achieving targets.
Experience managing and developing existing accounts alongside winning new business.
A confident, consultative sales approach with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels.
Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle, from prospecting through to close.
Comfortable managing a sales pipeline and working with CRM systems.
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Commercially driven, resilient and motivated by results.
A natural relationship builder who enjoys developing long-term client partnerships.
Experience selling a solution, service, technology or professional offering would be advantageous.
